
Iman is an undergraduate student at UBC, studying Honours Cellular, Anatomical and Physiological Sciences. He joined the IBL as a summer intern under the Faculty of Medicine Summer Student Research Program, under the supervision of Dr. Shadgan. In the IBL, Iman has worked on developing a method of diagnosis for Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome using near-infrared spectroscopy. He also has experience in research on movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, and has been a teaching assistant of differential calculus at UBC.
