Armin (Mehdi) Nourizadeh

Originally from Ahvaz, Iran, Armin was trained as a medical doctor in Jondishapur University of Medical Sciences, a reincarnation of one of the most ancient academies of learning, Gondishapur University. He subsequently completed internships in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, pediatric, orthopedics, gynecology, and emergency medicine. He moved to Vancouver, BC in 2021 and immediately joined IBL as a volunteer research assistant where he helps with collecting and analyzing of physiological data. He was a professional volleyball player and the captain of the Jondishapur University volleyball team for 5 years. In his spare time, he referees local soccer matches.
