Anahita Shojaei

Anahita is an applied researcher specializing in machine learning and deep learning with a focus on signal and image processing and computer vision. Her work spans applications ranging from medical image analysis and video-based human activity recognition to multimodal signal interpretation and display technologies. She has developed data-driven methods and curated large-scale datasets in collaboration with academic, clinical, and industry partners to address complex real-world problems. Her current research at IBL focuses on wearable sensor technologies for sports and exercise monitoring. By developing ML and DL algorithms to analyze multimodal signals, including near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), she aims to generate real-time insights that support athletic performance, training optimization, and injury prevention.
